During a national match, the football stadium is packed with cheering fans in football jerseys and beers in their hands. However, a completely different battle is taking place in the stands; a battle between two groups of friends with Julius and Robert on the front line. A collision between a brutal cancel culture and a male-dominated football culture evokes a relationship between the two boys that is far from simple.
PRODUCER STATEMENT
Astrid’s approach to filmmaking is a founded in a mix of Mediascience from Aarhus University and the fiction oriented filmschool Super8. She is also trained in “AFV producerskole” and has taken “Arbejdsmiljøkursus” in order to create healthy and socially sustainable film productions from preproduction to postproduction. She has produced several short films such as “Tonser”, “Som Strå”, “Kango” and “Ånder du nu”, which are shown at festivals around the globe. Storytelling is of the essence for Astrid, and you will always find a strong opinion in her films, that carries a need to be told.
